On stuffy May Monday, 3 ladies and 9 gentlemen met for the first time beneath the Shalom Towers, and they were given light blue shirts.

As the shirts fell from the crown of their heads to the seams of their glistening shorts, they were awakened by an overwhelming sense of responsibility that exceeded the stakes of a win. There was a pitcher at stake. A free pitcher. Somewhere in the overgrown grass beneath the setting sun, Smurfs were born.

After a winless season, the Smurfs recruited a new batch of brotherhood known as 2 Goals 1 Cup. The clever pun was then washed away by the camaraderie of Smurfhood. The newcomers melted into the elders, and they became The Pink Smurfs, whose castle was just beyond the landing strips of Bowman Field in a utopian watering hole known as The Air Devil's Inn.

Now, the team is back for another season. A season of heavy pressure, ballsy defense, and soccer puns for the win. It would be foolish not to fear the Smurfs. Good Luck to all, you will need it.
